4 years
Yesterday marked my fourth year of not smoking. All credit goes to my will power, but also the book “The Easy Way to Stop Smoking,” by Allen Carr. It’s odd how it worked but ten years of smoking and ten years of wanting to stop and that’s what did it.
Now it’s on to other things. Last year I took on nasal spray addiction. The year before was home ownership. This year it’s alcohol, athleticism, and finances. I haven’t been debt free (minus healthy debt obviously) since 2020, and I aim to be this year. But it’s all work. Tomorrow I work more tours and get back to the grind. It’s spring break now but I won’t have time off again till June. No rest for the wicked.
